India-USA
India and USA are the world’s largest and most influential democracies. We both have many shared values and practices. India and US are ‘natural allies’. Our ties of commerce and investments are flourishing and the India-US business community is highly optimistic about the future of our partnership. The chairman of USIBC (US-India Business Council) Mr. John Chambers has recently said that “the relationship between US President Donald Trump and PM Narendra Modi should be the strongest in Asia-Pacific and the bilateral trade between India & US can go to $550 billion in next 7 years.” The top US business leaders have shown the high level of trust on Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s leadership and vision.
India is going through a big transformation and in the USA, reviving the basic structures of the economy is one of the top priorities of the new leadership. We both have some common interests. Our mutual interests of building/rebuilding the nation provide a plethora of opportunities for collaboration and cooperation.
The role of perception makers in both countries is quite similar. But today, when the political leadership is playing a good role and presenting an encouraging environment for the businesses, it becomes necessary for the business leaders to maximize their opportunities. Business leaders of both sides need to align their business goals with their national interest. Plan something big, participate in the growth process of the country because those who will not participate will left behind! There are huge business and market opportunities, leverage these opportunities and enjoy your journey.
IHSE is an initiative to promote the combination of Integral Humanism and Spirit of Enterprise because both are the two time-tested approaches from the world’s two great democracies.
