India-Israel
India-Israel partnership has a good track record. The recent exchange of dialogues between the leaders of India and Israel has shown the highest level of admiration. Our people to people ties are also strong. The leadership of both countries believes in building good relations with other nations and sharing their innovation and technology with the rest of the world. President of Israel Mr. Reuven Rivlin’s recent remark that “Israel is ready for both Make in India and make with India” has given a right a direction to the future partnership.
The next move in our relationship can be channelized through Make with India concept; the Make with India concept is a little bit different from Make in India. Through this concept, Indian and Israeli companies together can lead the global market.
India and Israel both are full of smart people…we both have appreciated each other a lot, now it’s time to build something big together…both of us have got a lot of good ideas. There is a need to blend Indian capabilities with Israeli capabilities. The private players of both sides need to make strong business alliances, with a proactive approach; together we can set new milestones.
Sharing some elements that are needed in the approach of entrepreneurs of both sides to drive this concept.

The young entrepreneurs should have the ‘winning spirit’ to lead the global market.

The approach of these entrepreneurs should be aggressive and offensive and they should know how to maximize the improvisations for the purpose.

They should be trend makers, not trend lovers.

Their approach should not be ‘rent seeker’.
Some challenges of the 21st century need coordinated efforts, India and Israel should work collectively not only for our mutual benefits but for the good of the world. The dimensions of India and Israel’s partnership are expanding, apart from Defense, we are also collaborating on Agriculture, water management, urban management and space technology. Here I would like to appreciate Mr. Daniel Carmon, Israel’s ambassador to India; he is doing phenomenal work to boost the cooperation between both countries. I believe the peace between India and Israel will lead to new ideas and innovation in future. The Indian and Israeli capabilities have the potential to lead the global market. I promote this concept and I invite suggestions/ideas/views from the professionals of both countries. Let’s take our partnership to the next level.
